I am scared of the dentist and have not had an appointment in years, how can you help me?

98% of adults have a phobia of going to the dentist. Know that you are not alone and that we are here to help you. Our team has experience with all different types of patients and we offer Sedation Dentistry. You can complete all dental treatment while sleeping in a relaxed state.

Most patients schedule a consultation first, so they can come in, meet the staff and the doctors, ask any questions about procedures, and feel comfortable with the office. Our staff is here to help you and make you feel at ease, so you can stay on track with your oral health needs.

It has been a while since my last dental visit, what should I do?

We understand that sometimes it can be difficult to schedule regular dental appointments. It is never too late to get your oral health back on track, so we recommend scheduling an appointment with our team as soon as possible to treat any potential complications.

I’m a new patient, what do you charge for a consultation?

We never charge new patients for a consultation appointment. We believe that you shouldn’t have to pay to find out what’s wrong, only to fix it!

A new patient consultation is always free of charge, including needed digital Xrays. The only point at which we’ll begin billing you as a new patient is if you decide to undergo treatment at our office after discussing your oral health assessment with our team.

Still have questions? Feel free to contact our Naperville office—our knowledgeable staff members will be happy to speak with you.

I am in severe pain and the office is not open, what do I do?

Don’t panic, we are here to serve you after hours!

Call our main office telephone line, and if one of our staff members doesn’t answer, listen for the full message and it will prompt you to our emergency line. We have our doctors on call 24/7 to ensure you are always taken care of.

Does your office accept my insurance plan?

We are in network with multiple insurance companies, and file out-of-network claims for patients as well. If you’re wondering what dental insurance will pay for, bring your insurance card to the visit or give us a call prior and we’ll be happy to discuss your coverage. Please be prepared to pay the copay or deductible at your appointment.

I'm a new patient, how much do you charge for cleanings?

Because there are different types of cleanings available based on a person’s oral health needs and history, the price varies. If you have dental insurance or CareCredit Financing, this may also affect your patient portion. Please call us today to get an exact estimate for your appointment (630) 369-3120.

Does your office offer specials on services?

Yes, in fact, we offer monthly and quarterly specials that change throughout the year! Feel free to give us a call to see what we are offering or visit our Special Offers page to view our latest online offers.

Does your office treat children?

Yes, our office sees children at all ages!

What can you do to change the appearance of my smile?

We have a number of cosmetic options for our patients.

Many patients are concerned about certain issues regarding their smiles. Chipped, stained, or crooked teeth, among other aesthetic problems, can really affect your confidence. Our team offers a wide variety of cosmetic dentistry procedures that can revive a tired smile. Treatments like teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, cosmetic bonding, and Six Month Smiles can renew your youthful appearance and give you a reason to smile!

The best way to see what is best for your personal situation and the desired outcome would be to call in and schedule a complimentary consultation.

Do I need metal braces to get straight teeth?

No! Metal braces are not necessary for a better smile!

Dr. Brown offers a clear alternative to traditional metal braces with Six Month Smiles and Minimum Teeth Movement. Adults who are reluctant to spend years in metal braces are very pleased with the experienced and results that these alternate options provide. These are much faster and cost effective than traditional, metal braces.

In order to assess whether you are a candidate or not for adult orthodonture, call our office today (630) 369-3120!

How can I fit dental treatment into my budget?

Our team believes that financial issues should never get in the way of obtaining dental care.

In addition to filing insurance claims and accepting all major credit cards for the balance of your treatment cost, our office partners with CareCredit, a wellknown and trusted name in patient financing. With payment plans designed to fit every budget as well as low and nointerest financing options for qualified applicants, CareCredit can enable you to get the care you need without stressing your wallet. Learn more about CareCredit and apply online by visiting their website.

Do I really need to visit the dentist if I'm not experiencing any problems?

Our office adheres to the American Dental Association’s recommendation…

All people with good oral health visit the dentist for a checkup and professional dental cleaning about every six months. In some cases, more frequent checkups and cleanings are necessary. We will schedule your next visit before you leave your appointment, so you’ll know exactly when to come see us again.
