The “royal prince” was born yesterday! So what does that mean for Kate and William? If little George Alexander was born in the Naperville, IL area and was a patient of Dr. Brown, we would give him some tips! It is important to maintain your infant’s oral health even though we know they will lose those teeth!

Baby teeth will arrive anywhere between 4 months and 1 year of age. When new teeth come in, they often cause some discomfort among infants as they push through the gums. This period is referred to as “teething.” Kate is going to have to learn how to comfort George when he starts getting fussy… Watch the video below to learn more about how to soothe a teething baby!

Some of the suggested methods are:

  1. Use your finger (cleaned) to gently massage their gums
  2. Give them a cool chew toy to chew on
  3. Teething tablets if symptoms worsen

As always, Dr. Brown will treat and advise on caring for your Naperville children, no matter what stage of development they are in. Give us a call for tips or advice!
